Mix wheat flour, gram flour, 1 tbsp oil, jeera, red chilli powder,turmeric & saunf. Knead a stiff dough with luke warm water. Shape this dough to a cylinderical shape & then cut it to about 10-11 inch long pieces.
Steam these pieces in cooker for 15-20 min.
Now these steamed dough pieces are called Gattey. Cut them to small pieces approx. 1 inch long.
Now heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add jeera & green chillies & fry.
Add butter milk & bring to a boil.
Now add the small pieces of Gattey, heat for 3 mins. Then add chopped coriander.
Your dish is ready to be served hot. This tasty Gattey Ki Bhaji with rotis/parathas serves four.
