Ingredients

  • Prawns - 20
  • Coarse rice powder, as required
  • 1 tbsp - oil, for shallow frying
  • Ingredients for marinating :
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - tamarind paste
  • 2 - garlic cloves , made into fine paste
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • Salt, as required

How to Make Goan prawn fry

  • Marinate the prawn with the marination ingredients and refrigerate it for a minimum of 2 hours.
  • Before frying, coat the prawns thoroughly with coarse rice powder and Deep Fried in hot oil.
  • Squeeze lemon juice on top before serving.
