  • 2 green bananas/plantains
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to Make Green Banana Crispy Fry

  • Peel and cut the green bananas into thin slices.
  • Soak in salt water for about 10 minutes.
  • Drain away the water and mix the banana slices with the chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan till smoky.
  • Deep fry few of the banana slices at a time till they are golden brown.
  • Serve as a side dish with rice and any curry or as a snack.
