  • 1 cup - Green Channa (Choliya)
  • 4-5 cloves of Garlic
  • 2 inches - of Garlic
  • 1 cup - Paneer grated or mashed
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • Red Chilli powder to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Green Channa Kabab

  • Soak the green channa overnight.
  • Drain all the water and grind the green channa with garlic, ginger and cumin seeds without water or as little water as possible.
  • Now put the ground channa in a bowl and mix the rest of the ingredients and the mashed paneer (which should be equal in quantity to the ground channa).
  • Keep a shallow frying pan on the stove and drizzle a little oil on it. Now take a little of the prepared mix in your hand and make a small round ball, flatten it by pressing the ball in your hands.
  • Put it in the heated pan on medium heat, shallow fry till it is brown on both the sides.
  • Serve with mint chutney or tomato sauce.
