Ingredients

  • 500 g - green peas
  • 2 - onions, medium size
  • 2 - tomatoes
  • 5 flakes - garlic
  • 1/2 cup - hara dhania
  • 1 inch - ginger
  • 2 tsp - dry powder of dhania
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 3 to 4 - green chillies
  • 50 g - oil
  • To taste - salt

How to Make Green peas subzi

  • In a mixie, grind green peas, onion, garlic and ginger.
  • Separately make a paste, of green chilli and dhania.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add jeera and let it crackle.
  • Add onion, ginger and garlic paste. Fry till they are golden.
  • Put green peas paste and fry, till paste leaves side of pan.
  • Add all the masalas and tomato paste. Add garam masala and salt.
  • Add water, so there is gravy.
  • Cover with a lid for 10 minutes, on a slow gas.
