Ingredients

  • 1 cup - sarson saag (mustard leaves, chopped fine)
  • 1 cup - spinach leaves (chopped)
  • 1 pod - garlic
  • 1/2 inch - ginger
  • 2 tbsp. - chopped mint leaves
  • 2 cups - bread crumbs
  • 3 tbsp. - besan (gram flour)
  • 2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • oil for deep frying

How to Make Green tikkis

  • Boil spinach and mustard leaves with the ginger and garlic till soft.
  • Drain excess water and grind to a paste.
  • Now, mix in the chopped mint, green chillies, bread crumbs and the besan.
  • Shape into round tikkis and fry in hot oil till crisp and golden brown.
