  • 20 - French beans
  • 1 tbsp - Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Mixed herbs
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Grilled French Beans

  • Wash and trim the ends of French beans.
  • Parboil them in boiling water for around 5 mins or microwave on high for 4 mins.
  • Drain the excess water and transfer to a mixing bowl.
  • Mix together with the beans, olive oil, herbs and salt in a bowl.
  • Heat the griller on medium for around 3-4 mins.
  • Arrange these flavoured French beans on a grilling tray.
  • Grill for 10-12 mins in the microwave.
  • Serve hot as a side dish.
