Ingredients

  • 100 g- Fresh, tender turmeric tubers
  • 1 liter - Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1 tsp- Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp- Cardamom powder.

How to Make Haldi Ka Paak

  • Peel and wash the turmeric. Now grate it finely and keep aside.
  • In the meanwhile boil in a large heavy vessel.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes and add the turmeric.
  • Stir gently, until it starts Boiled again.
  • Keep stirring so that the milk does not scald.
  • Add sugar, cook until it is a soft, yellow lump.
  • Now add cardamom, ghee, and mix well.
  • Transfer to a container, and cool before storing.
  • Eat half a teaspoonful, every morning along with milk.
