Ingredients

  • 500g - baby potatoes (cooked and peeled)
  • 2 - medium onions finely chopped
  • 2 tsp - Oil
  • 3 tsp - cream cheese (optional)
  • To grind together:
  • 1 cup - spinach, cooked
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1/2 bunch - green coriander
  • 1 inch - ginger
  • 2 - cloves garlic (optional)

How to Make Hara Aloo

  • Heat oil and add onion. Fry till pale.
  • Add potatoes and fry till golden brown or 5 mins.
  • Add ground mixture, salt, 1/2 cup water and boil for 5 mins.
  • Add salt, cream cheese and cook for 2 mins.
