  • 3 tsp. harissa paste
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 500 gms. sirloin steak , cut into thick strips
  • 8 tortillas wraps
  • ½ iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup guacamole
  • ¼ cup tomato salsa
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese

How to Make Harissa Beef Fajitas

  • Mix together the harissa, paprika and oil in a non metallic bowl.
  • Add the steak and mix to coat, then cover and let marinate for 5 minutes.
  • Heat a grill pan until hot, add the steak, and cook for 20 seconds on each side, or until cooked to your liking.
  • Remove from the pan and keep warm.
  • Heat the tortillas in a microwave according to the package directions.
  • Sprinkle some shredded lettuce in the centre of each tortilla and layer the steak on top.
  • Spoon a little sour cream, guacamole and salsa over the steak, then sprinkle with the cheese.
  • Roll up the wraps and serve.
