Ingredients

  • 2 cups - cabbage finely grated
  • 1 - onion finely chopped
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • 1/2 cup - roasted gram dal (pottu kadalai)
  • 2 - red chillies
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • 7 - pods of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp - saunf
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - oil

How to Make Healthy Cabbage

  • Grind all the ingredients (except cabbage and onion) and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add onion, cabbage and very little water. Sautee.
  • When the cabbage is done, add the ground powder. Stir well.
  • Serve with rice.
