Ingredients

  • 500 g - mutton or chicken mince
  • 2 - onions, chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp - parsley or coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - egg beaten
  • 3 tbsp - breadcrumbs
  • 6 - burger buns
  • Slices of - tomato and cucumber

How to Make Home Made Burger Patties

  • Mix the mince with onions, parsley, salt, tomato sauce and pepper powder.
  • Divide into 6 equal sized balls.
  • Flatten and shape into patties.
  • Heat oil in a flat pan.
  • Dip each patty in the beaten egg, roll in breadcrumbs then shallow fry 3 or 4 at a time till cooked and golden brown.
  • Place between 2 halves of a burger bun along with a slice of tomato, cucumber and a dash of sauce.
