Ingredients

  • 100g - oma podi/sev
  • 10 - small pooris
  • 2 - potatoes (medium)
  • 1/2 cup - Bengal gram (Kadalaparippu)
  • 2 cups - Puffed rice(Pori)
  • 2 - Onions(medium)
  • 1- tomato (small)
  • 1/4 cup - coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup - raw mango pieces (finely chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Mint leaves(Pudhina) for mint chutney

How to Make Homemade Bhel Puri

  • Boil the potatoes, peel and mash.
  • Boil the bengal gram in a separate vessel.
  • Chop the onions and tomatoes finely.
  • Prepare oma podi, sweet chutney, mint chutney and small puris.
  • In a large bowl, mix puffed rice, onions, tomatoes, chopped coriander leaves, mashed potatoes, small puris, cooked dal and mix well.
