  • 100 gm cumin seeds
  • 50 gm cardamom
  • 50 gm black peppercorns
  • 30 gm fennel seeds
  • 30 gm black cumin seeds
  • 30 gm coriander seeds
  • 15 gm cloves
  • 15 gm cinnamon
  • 15 gm bay leaf
  • 10 gm ginger powder (optional)
  • 15 gm mace
  • 2 nutmegs (broken)

How to Make Homemade Punjabi Garam Masala

  • Dry grind all the ingredients, except powdered ginger (if using). Do not roast.
  • Mix in the ginger powder well.
  • Store as general.
