  • 1 cup - green peas
  • 2 cups - cauliflower florets
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 3 - green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 4 or 5 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Indian Peas And Cauliflower

  • Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds.
  • When they begin to crackle, add cumin seeds, green chillies and curry leaves and fry for about one minute.
  • Mix in the peas and cauliflower.
  • Add the turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  • Add 1/2 glass of water and cook over low heat till the peas and cauliflower are cooked.
  • Serve it as a side dish.
