Ingredients

  • 1 - squash
  • 1/4 cup - til (soaked for 1/2 hour)
  • 1/4 cup - coconut, fresh grated
  • 5 - green chillies
  • 1 tbsp - urad dal
  • Few red chillies
  • Some curry leaves

How to Make Indian Squash with til

  • Cut the squash into small pieces.
  • Add very little salt and microwave till it is tender.
  • Drain til. Add grated coconut and green chillies to it.
  • Grind to a paste, adding a little salt.
  • In a kadai add oil.
  • When it is hot, add urad dal and red chillies.
  • After they are done, add some mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  • Now, add the cooked squash and ground til paste to this.
  • Let it simmer for some time.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
