Ingredients

  • 500 gms - medium-sized boneless chicken pieces
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 2 tsp - sugar
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp - tamarind paste
  • 1.5 cups - oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Indonesian fried chicken

  • Mix all the above ingredients and marinate chicken pieces in it for 4-5 hours.
  • Heat a non-stick pan and pour oil into it.
  • When it is steaming hot, add the marinated chicken pieces and fry in the oil till they are golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
