  • Almonds - 100 g (soaked and skinned)
  • Milk powder - 2 tbsp
  • Sweet bread - 4 to 5 slices
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup
  • Almond essence - a few drops

How to Make Instant Almond Burfies

  • Dry the skinned almonds and powder it.
  • Put all the ingredients together in a heavy bottomed vessel, and keep stirring on a medium flame.
  • When the mixture leave the sides of the vessel, remove from heat, spread it on a well greased plate and cut into desired shapes.
  • Decorate them with almond pieces or with sultanas or candied fruits.
