Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 cup - boiled tur dal
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - rasam powder
  • 1 cup - water
  • A pinch - asafoetida
  • A Pinch - turmeric
  • 1 tsp - finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 1 tsp

How to Make Instant Lemon Rasam

  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Add the mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
  • Add all the other ingredients except lemon juice and bring to a boil.
  • Allow it to cool for 2-3 minutes and then add the lemon juice.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
