Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup - quinoa
  • 1/2 cup - rolled oats
  • 1 cup - cornmeal
  • 2 tbsp - ragi flour
  • 2 tbsp - pearl millet flour
  • 2 cups - sour yogurt
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - eno salt or baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - urad dal
  • 1/2 tsp - channa dal
  • A few - curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil

How to Make Instant Multigrain Idli

  • Heat few drops of oil, splutter the mustard seeds, urad dal and channa dal
  • Add chopped green chillies, curry leaves, fry for few seconds
  • Meanwhile grind the quinoa and coarsely powder the rolled oats.
  • Mix the cornmeal, sour yogurt, ragi flour, pearl millet flour, powdered quinoa-oats mixture in a bowl.
  • Add the tempered spices to it and finally add the eno salt
  • Stir quickly and pour a ladle of batter to the greased idli plates
  • steam in idly cooker for 15-20 mins
