  • 250 g Fresh Tomatoes
  • 4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp asafoetida
  • 1 small cup oil

How to Make Instant Tomato Chutney

  • Chop tomatoes into very fine pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and when they split, add asafoetida, turmeric powder and the chopped tomatoes.
  • Mix for a while and add salt.
  • When it is cooked, add chilli powder and mix thoroughly.
  • The oil should form a layer on the chutney.
