Ingredients

  • 500 g - prawns (shelled, de-veined, washed and pat dried)
  • 4 to 5 green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup - flour
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • ½ cup - milk
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Irresitible Prawn Pakoras

  • Sift together the flour and baking powder.
  • Add salt to and keep aside.
  • Beat the egg and combine it with the milk.
  • Add the green chillies.
  • Stir in the flour a little at a time and mix well.
  • Add the prawns.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and carefully drop the prawns into the oil.
  • Fry on a medium flame till light brown in colour.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
