Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp crushed dried red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
  • 1 tsp dried basil leaves
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground white pepper

How to Make Italian Dressing

  • Mix all the ingredients in a tight fitting jar.
  • Cover the jar and shake well.
  • Refrigerate overnight.

  • Instead of chicken broth you can use 1/2 cup olive / salad oil.
  • Instead of dried basil leaves can use 1 tbsp freshly chopped basil.
