Ingredients

  • 2 cups - cabbage, shredded thinly
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - asafetida powder
  • 1 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • 1/4 tsp - Sugar
  • Oil

How to Make Jain Cabbage Sabji

  • Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds and asafoetida powder.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, green chillies and saute for few mins.
  • Add finely shredded cabbage with chilli powder, salt and mix well
  • Cook for few minutes and add sugar
  • Simmer for few minutes, add finally the coriander leaves and remove from stove.
  • Serve.
