  • 50 gm Butter
  • 50 gm Sugar
  • 100 gm Maida
  • 1/2 tsp - strawberry essence
  • 20 gm - Mixed fruit jam

How to Make Jam Biscuits

  • Cream butter and sugar together (i.e. mix together in one direction only).
  • Add maida.
  • Mix in 1/2 tsp strawberry essence.
  • Bind it well into a dough.
  • Make a chapati like shape and cut into any shape with the help of a biscuit cutter.
  • Mash mixed fruit jam throughly in a bowl.
  • Put mashed jam in the middle of the biscuit and then to the whole biscuit.
  • Cut biscuits and then cut in the centre (a small circle) and place this on the top of the jam applied biscuit.
  • Fill in some jam in the centre.
  • Bake these for 20mins at 160 C sprinkle sugar on the jam in the centre after they are baked.
