  • Maida - 2 cups
  • Cumin seeds - 3 tbsp
  • Ginger paste - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Curry powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Jeera Chips

  • Mix maida, chilli powder, cumin seeds (pounded lightly), ginger paste, butter and salt.
  • Make a soft dough with a little warm water.
  • Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Roll the dough into a big chapatti with a dash of dry flour.
  • Cut into diamond shaped pieces and deep fry in the oil till it turns golden brown.
  • Drain out the oil and sprinkle curry powder and salt.
  • Cool it and store in an airtight container.
