Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - Basmati Rice
  • 2 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 tbsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 cup - Onion paste
  • 1 tsp - Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup - Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 tsp -Ajinomoto
  • 2 pieces - Cloves, Cinnamon, Cardamom
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Jeera Pulav

  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashew nuts till golden brown.
  • Remove and keep aside.
  • Add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, ajinomoto, onion paste, ginger garlic paste, rice, salt and 3 cups of water and cook till done.
  • Finally sprinkle fried nuts over the rice.
  • Serve with raita or aloo korma.
