Ingredients

  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Green chilli paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger paste - 1 tsp
  • 1 cup - water
  • Curry leaves
  • Cumin seeds
  • Mustard seeds
  • Finely chopped coriander
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Kadhi Bhat (Curd curry)

  • Take curd into the mixie and whisk until it becomes smooth.
  • There should not be any lumps of curd.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add musturd and cumin seeds.
  • Let it splutter; add green chilli paste.
  • When the paste turns brown, add curry leaves.
  • Add dahi on high heat, then add a cup of water to it.
  • Start stirring it with spoon till it gets just warm.
  • Do not let the kadhi boil.
  • Stir as long as your pan is on the stove.
  • Kadhi is ready.
  • Serve with plain rice.
