  • 6 - beans
  • 1 - big carrot
  • 1 cup - channa dal
  • 5 to 6 - red chilli
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Kadlebele Usli Palya

  • Soak 1 cup channa dal for 1 hour.
  • Cut beans and carrot.
  • Cook them and drain the cooked water.
  • Drain the channa dal water.
  • Take a food processor and grind the dal roughly along with red chillies with a bit of salt (do not grind smooth).
  • Take a kadai, heat kadai and add 2-3 tsp of oil.
  • Add mustard and saute it, then add the dal mixture and fry the dal till it becomes powdery and smooth.
  • Add the cooked vegetable and mix well so that the dal mixture powder mixes well with the vegetables.
  • Keep stirring for 5-8 minutes.
  • Constantly stir it.
  • Eat with chapatti.
