Ingredients

  • 4 or 5- leftover idlis
  • For seasoning:
  • 1/2 tsp- Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp- urud dal
  • 2 to 3 - curry leaves
  • For dipping :
  • 4 or 5 tbsp- maida
  • 3 to 4 tbsp- bread crumbs
  • For grinding:
  • 3 or 4- small onions
  • 2 medium - tomatoes
  • 3 or 4 flakes - garlic
  • Ginger - small amount
  • 2 tsp- dhania powder
  • Chilli powder
  • Salt

How to Make Kaima Idli

  • Add little bit of chilli powder and salt to the maida and make it into a paste by adding water.
  • Cut the idlis into small squares.
  • Dip them first in maida and then in bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry them in oil till golden brown.
