Ingredients

  • Karamani - 1/2 cup, boiled
  • Big onion - 2
  • Garlic - 2
  • Saunf - 1 tsp
  • Red chillies - 4
  • Tomato - 1
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander - chopped
  • For Seasoning:
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp - Jeera
  • Grind Together:
  • Onion - 1
  • 3 - Garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp - Saunf
  • 4 - Red chillies

How to Make Karamani Masala

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and jeera. When the mustard splutters, add chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
  • Add ground masala, fry until the raw smell goes.
  • Add turmeric powder and salt, fry for a minute.
  • Add the boiled karamani to the gravy after mashing the karamani a little.
  • Add enough water to get required consistency
  • When the water starts to boil, add chopped tomatoes, chopped coriander, close the lid and let it boil for 2-3 minutes. Serve.
