Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - crab
  • 4 - Kashmiri red chillies
  • 2 tbsp - cilantro
  • 1/2 tbsp - turmeric
  • 4 pods - garlic
  • 1 small piece - ginger
  • 1/4 tbsp - cumin
  • 1 - big onion
  • 1 - big tomato
  • coconut as per taste
  • tamarind juice as per taste
  • salt to taste

How to Make Kashmiri mirch Crab Curry

  • Cut the crab into pieces.
  • Grind ginger, garlic, chillies, coriander, coconut and cumin into a thick paste.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai and add the mustard (NOT MENTIONED IN INGREDIENTS) and chopped onion. Fry well.
  • Add the tomato and fry well.
  • Add the masala paste and fry well until the oil separates.
  • Add the crabs and boil well.
  • Add salt and tamarind juice and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with cilantro.
