Wash rice and boil with water and garam masala and keep it aside.
Boil jack-fruit with pinch of salt, and turmeric powder in water and sieve in colander.
After that fry the jack-fruit in oil.
Now in a large pan heat 2 tbsp oil and add onions, green chilly, ginger and turmeric powder.
Saute for 5 minutes and add coriander powder, cumin seeds and tomatoes.
To this add 1/2 cup water, jack fruit pieces, red chilli powder, yoghurt, salt and saute.
Add coriander and mint (chopped) and garam masala powder.
Now grease a serving bowl with ghee or butter and add jack-fruit mix, on top add a layer of rice, sprinkle mint and saffron milk, then one more layer of jack-fruit mix and again a layer of rice, and ginger and saffron serve hot.
