Ingredients

  • Ingredients for the gravy:
  • Keema - 1/2 Kg
  • Ginger paste - 2 tsp
  • Garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Cloves and cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chillies - 5
  • Channa dal - 1/4 cup
  • Onions - 1 big
  • 1/2 cup - coconut
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Onion - 1
  • salt
  • Coriander leaves

How to Make Kheema Urundai Kozhambu

  • Grind kheema, green chillies, cinnamon and cloves.
  • Mix the rest of the ingredients and make small balls.
  • Cook the keema balls in water for 10 mins.
  • Heat another pan, add 2 -3 tsp of oil and saute garam masala and onion.
  • Add coconut paste, red chilli powder and ginger-garlic paste.
  • Make a thick gravy .
  • Add the kheema balls and boil for half an hour.
