Ingredients

  • 3 - eggs
  • 2 - potatoes
  • 1 - tomato
  • 2 - onions
  • 4-5 - garlic pods
  • 6 - dry red chillies
  • 1 tbsp - jeera
  • 1 tbsp - garam masala
  • Mustard oil
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt

How to Make Koni Alu Dom

  • Boil the eggs and potatoes.
  • Make a paste of the onions, tomato, garlic, dry red chillies, jeera and garam masala.
  • Rub turmeric powder to the boiled eggs.
  • Heat oil.
  • Fry the eggs for half a minute, keep aside.
  • Add the paste to the same oil and fry.
  • Add turmeric powder and salt, mix.
  • After a minute add the boiled potatoes, mix.
  • After a minute add 2 cups of water and cover with a lid.
  • When the water starts to boil add the eggs.
  • Cook on low flame until the gravy becomes thick.
  • Serve.
