  • 500 gms. marrow
  • 250 gms. sugar
  • ¼ tsp. essence of rose
  • 1 tsp. cardamom seeds
  • 25 gms. each of sliced almonds and pistachios
  • Few rose petals

How to Make Lauki Ke Lacche

  • Peel the marrow. Cut the marrow into thin strips like seviyan with vegetable grater.
  • Add 1 glass water in sugar and prepare a syrup, put n the cardamoms and pumpkin and cook till the vegetable is done and the syrup becomes thick.
  • Remove from fire and mix in the rest of the above ingredients.
  • Serve after a few hours.
