  • 1 & ½ kg. grated white pumpkin
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp. rose water
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tsp. cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp. cornflour
  • 3 tbsp. sugar, if necessary
  • Few sliced almonds

How to Make Lauki Ki Mithaas

  • Put condensed milk and water in a pan, add pumpkin and cook slowly for 15-20 minutes.
  • Add cornflour mixed in ½ cup water, and stir till thick. Remove from fire.
  • Add rose water, cardamom powder and the sugar, if needed. Chill well.
  • Garnish with almonds and serve.
