Ingredients

  • 600g - mushroom, quartered
  • 3/4 cup - ghee
  • 3.5 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 cup - cabbage shredded
  • 4 - whole dried chillies
  • 2.5 tsp - coriander seeds
  • 4 - green chillies, slit
  • 3 tbsp - ginger chopped
  • 1/3 cup - chopped coriander leaves
  • 2/3 cup - sliced onion
  • 40g - julienned capsicum
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tsp - garam masala

How to Make Lazeez Kumbh (Delicious Mushroom)

  • Heat 5 tsp ghee and saute mushrooms over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Drain.
  • Heat 5 tsp ghee and saute cabbage till the liquid evaporates completely. Remove the cabbage and reserve the ghee.
  • Pound the red chillies and coriander seeds.
  • Heat the reserved ghee and 1/4 cup fresh ghee. Add garlic paste and stir over medium heat for 20 seconds. Add pounded spices and stir for 30 seconds.
  • Add tomatoes and saute till fat separates. Add green chillies, ginger and 1/2 of the coriander leaves and stir.
  • Heat remaining ghee and saute onions still transparent. Add capsicum and saute for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Add the sauteed masala, mushrooms, salt and cabbage and stir constantly for 3-4 minutes.
  • Sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves. The dish is ready to serve.
