  • 600-700 g - Chicken
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp - Garlic Paste [freshly made]
  • 100 g - Curd [kept for half an hour in a cloth or in a tea strainer to drain water]
  • 1.5 tsp - Salt
  • 1 tbsp - Oil
  • 0.5 tsp - Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp - Red pepper [preferably degi]
  • A pinch - Red food colour
  • Juice of two lemons
  • 2 tbsp - cream/malai

How to Make Lemon Garlic Chicken

  • Wash the chicken thoroughly.
  • Add the marinade and keep aside for 1 hour.
  • Cook the chicken in a closed pan over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes.
  • When the chicken is slightly done, remove the lid and let just a little moisture behind.
  • Just before serving, reheat the chicken and add fresh lemon juice.
  • Heat a little more.
  • Now, add cream [stained in a tea strainer] and stir a little to give the chicken a little coated look.
  • Now, add coarsely ground black pepper.
  • Serve with garlic bread and spicy onion salad.
