  • 1/2 cup - lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 3/4 cup - sugar
  • Zest of lemon - a few to garnish

How to Make Lemon Granite

  • In a deep bottomed pan boil water.
  • Take it off the flame and add sugar.
  • Mix well and let it cool down to room temperature.
  • Add lemon juice and mix well.
  • Transfer into a plastic container to freeze.
  • Place the container in a freezer for 30-40 minutes.
  • Take out the container and using a fork poke throughout nicely.
  • Again freeze for another 30 minutes and keep repeating the process for 4 hours.
  • Now, take out a scoop from it into a serving cup and garnish with zest of lemon.
