  • 2 separated eggs
  • 1 tsp - orange essence
  • 3 tbsp - lime juice
  • 2/3 cup (cold) - milk
  • 1 cup - powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup - all purpose flour (Maida)
  • 1/2 tsp - salt

How to Make Lime and orange pudding

  • Preheat the oven to 170 C.
  • Beat the egg whites till soft peaks are formed.
  • Beat the yolks lightly with essence.
  • Add lime juice, sugar and milk.
  • Mix flour with baking powder and add to the yolk mixture.
  • Mix till smooth.
  • Fold in the egg whites.
  • Pour the mixture into an ungreased baking dish.
  • Place a roasting pan on the rack in the oven.
  • Place the baking dish in the pan.
  • Pour very hot water in the pan, to a depth of half.
  • Bake till the pudding is set and golden brown on top.
  • Serve warm or cold.
