  • 1 kg - liver, cut into thin slices
  • 2 - onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp - chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 - egg, beaten with a tsp of flour
  • 6 - rashers of bacon
  • 1 cup - water
  • 1 tbsp - oil

How to Make Liver And Bacon Casserole

  • Wash the liver well, rub it well all over with the salt, pepper and vinegar.
  • Place it in a big baking pan.
  • Add the potatoes, onions, red chillies, cinnamon, cloves and sufficient water.
  • Cover with aluminium foil and bake in a moderate oven for about 1 hour 15 minutes or till the meat is tender.
  • Remove the foil and continue roasting till the meat is nice and brown and the potatoes too are roasted well.
  • Serve hot or cold with bread or with spiced rice.
