Ingredients

  • 800 g - lobster
  • 1/2 cup - cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp - ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp - garlic paste
  • 4 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3/4 cup - tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 tbsp - coconut paste
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • 10 - curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - green coriander, chopped

How to Make Lobster Curry

  • Shell, de-vein, wash and cut lobster into dices.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute onions till golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and saute.
  • Add green chillies, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and tomatoes.
  • Stir till the oil separates from the masala.
  • Add the diced lobsters.
  • Saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Stir in the coconut paste.
  • Add 2 cups water and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce flame and simmer.
  • Add lemon juice and curry leaves.
  • Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander.
