Ingredients

  • 500 g - bottle gourd (loki)
  • 200 g - khoya
  • 1 cup - milk
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • 2-3 - small cardamom
  • 1 gm - sugarfree saffron strands, soaked in milk
  • 2 tsp - peanuts
  • Raisins - a little
  • 1 tsp - roasted cashew
  • Virk for decoration

How to Make Loki and Koya Burfi

  • Peel and grate bottle gourd and put in a non-stick kadai with milk and cardamom.
  • Keep stirring till the milk dries.
  • Add sugarfree saffron strands and khoya and take off from fire.
  • Add the dry fruits and let it set in a tray .
  • Once set add verk and cut into desired shape and serve.
