  • 250 gms - macaroni
  • 1 tin - sweet corn kernels
  • 200 gms - bacon without the rind
  • 1 tsp - chopped mint
  • 3 tbsp - grated cheese
  • 4 tbsp - bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp - Tabasco sauce
  • 1 tbsp - tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Macaroni With Bacon And Sweet Corn

  • Wash the bacon and fry lightly. Break into small bits.
  • Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water till soft, then drain.
  • Mix the fried bacon with the macaroni, sweet corn, mint, pepper powder, salt, Tabasco sauce and tomato sauce.
  • Transfer to a buttered shallow oven proof dish.
  • Mix the breadcrumbs and grated cheese together and spread on the top.
  • Bake in a moderate oven (355 degrees F) for 15-20 minutes till brown.
