Ingredients

  • 8 cubes - paneer
  • 8 pieces - pineapple
  • 4 square pieces - green capsicum
  • 8 - button mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • For the malai sauce:
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 2 cubes of cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp capsico sauce
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp ready made mustard

How to Make Malai Kebab

  • Take 4 skewers and thread 2 paneer cubes, 2 pineapple slices, 1 red and 1 green capsicum squares and 2 button mushrooms.
  • Mix all the ingredients for the malai sauce and pour over the skewered vegetables . Keep aside for 5 mins.
  • Roast in a tandoor or rotate under a hot grill, basting with the oil and sauce frequently, for 5-7 mins till the sides look like a little charred.
  • Serve at once with a salad.
