Ingredients

  • 4 - small raw mangoes (vadu manga)
  • 2 - green chillies
  • 1 cup - grated coconut
  • 1 cup - curd or yogurt
  • For Seasoning:
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - methi seeds

How to Make Mangai Arachu Kalaki

  • First cut the vadu mangoes and remove the seed, if you are using the mangoes from the pickle just wash the mangoes and then do the above.
  • Grind together the mangoes, green chillies, curds and coconut without adding water so that the consistency remains thick, and the texture a little rough.
  • Heat oil, add mustard and methi seeds and when it begins to splutter, add it to the above mixture.
