Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 1 medium onion, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 medium-sized tomato
  • Grind the below ingredients together:
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves
  • 1-2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 inch cinnamon
  • 7-8 cloves garlic
  • 2" piece ginger

How to Make Manglorean Chicken Curry

  • In a kadai, heat 5 tbsp oil.
  • Fry onion till golden brown.
  • Add tomato and fry until soft.
  • Add the ground masala and fry it is cooked.
  • Add chicken and fry.
  • Add the required amount of water and salt and simmer till cooked.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
