Ingredients

  • 2 tsp - cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp - coriander/dhania, roasted
  • 5 - large dates, seeds removed
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds, roasted
  • 1 tsp - lime juice
  • 3 - large, raw mangoes
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp - sugar

How to Make Mango Chutney - Sweet

  • Pare the green mangoes and cut into small chunks.
  • Heat about 2 tsp of oil in a pan and fry the chunks until mushy.
  • Drain, mash well and set aside to cool.
  • Blend the rest of the ingredients with the mango to prepare a smooth paste (do not add water).
  • Adjust the salt if needed.
  • Transfer to an airtight container and store in a refrigerator. Consume within a week.
