  • 12 - ripe Alphonso mangoes
  • 1 tsp - cardamom powder
  • sliced nuts

How to Make Mango Sato

  • Squeeze out the thick juice from the mangoes.
  • Mix in 1 tsp of cardamom powder and sliced nuts of your choice and put the juice in a wide plate and place it out in the sun.
  • Next morning, pour over a fresh layer of mango juice mixed with nuts and cardamom powder.
  • Again place in the sun.
  • Keep adding layers for 7 days.
  • Then continue keeping the late in the sun till the mixture turns firm.
  • Cut into small pieces and wrap in wax paper.
  • Store in air tight tin.
